Leveraging the Power of Youth to Promote Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities

Based on research conducted by Humanity & Inclusion / Handicap International (2022), it is estimated that approximately 240 million children are living with disabilities, and 50% of them residing in low and middle-income countries are not attending school. The inclusion of children with disabilities in education is essential for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and other global commitments. 

To address this issue, the Inclusion Working Group of the SDG4Youth Network has developed a policy brief containing recommendations and valuable insights on how to leverage the potential of young people towards making education more inclusive. The policy brief is available for download.
